All of these mantels are hollow and made to sleeve over existing mantels. We can remove current wood mantles or if you have a stone mantel that you would like to cover we can make it accordingly. Even if there is nothing there, we will create blocking and a mount so it will be more than sturdy enough to hold more than stockings.
